"Cosmic
Drone" is surely a good and interesting album, well played and
arranged by a group of talented musicians. It features some very
fine original compositions drawing from traditional dance music from France but
enriched by several more actual and fresh influences. I
never thought the hurdy-gurdy could reach such results in a more modern
contest but everything works well on this CD. Possibly another soloist, I
mean a fiddler or a piper, could add more variety to the whole but even in this
way the album has its appeal and sound always interesting. Maybe next time...
